cannot record on second tuner card

i have a sage box with an hvr-1600 and a colossus. this box ran ok for the past few months, until last night. after the machine was rebooted, for some reason i can no longer watch/record anything on the colossus. if i go into the guide and click a channel mapped for the colossus it only shows me what's on the input of the hvr-1600. where to begin to troubleshoot this?

If your server is a Windows box then go to the Windows Device Manager and see if both the Colossus Capture and Encoder devices are still functioning with out the yellow exclamation mark on one or the other. I occasionally reboot and find that one of them (don't remember which) will not be functioning and have the Yellow exclamation mark. I then just re-install the driver again and reboot and I'm back in business. If the devices are both functioning correctly then check to see if they are listed in the Sage.properties file on the "mmc/ignore_encoders line". If it is listed then remove it while SageTV is not running and reboot SageTV and it should hopefully come back. If neither of these suggestion work then I'm out of ideas.

this edit is what i did after deleting and re-adding the colossus card as an input source. FIXED!
