Remote Control for Running Sage Client

So my typical setup is running the Sage Server on the PC, and watching nearly 100% on the HD300 on the TV. But, I was having an issue with my HD300, so I've returned it to Google and I'm still awaiting replacement/repair.

In the mean time, I was able to run video and audio cables from PC to TV, so I'm currently watching using the client on the PC with the TV as a second monitor. The "couch experience" is far from enjoyable in this current configuration, as I don't have a remote that can control the PC from the couch.

What do I need to buy to make this work? A Media Center Remote with USB IR receiver? How do I configure something like that to control Sage?

Coincidentally, I've recently purchased a Logitech Harmony One (currently in the mail). To be able to use that on the PC client, what else do I need? Just an IR Receiver for the PC?

You can use a media center remote. I use a special one, but it still works great. In the input configuration you just choose mce remote. You can use your harmony, but will need a way to interface it with the pc. A UIRT can do that and so can any remote ir receiver that harmony is compatible with.

I have never seen an MCE remote that I liked, and if you've already got the sagetv remote, and are used to using it, I'd get a USB-UIRT for your PC and use that with your sage remote.
