YouTube weirdness.
Has anyone else had an issue with YouTube playing the first 10 seconds of a video then stopping for no reason? I don't use it so I never noticed it until a few days ago. It doesn't happen through a web browser. Very strange.

online video - google video - youtube ok?
anyone having trouble watching online sources either through their server, client or extenders? I have been getting black screens for Google and Youtube, and a lot of "playback errors" for other HD sources like Nasa etc.
Anyone? Is there a solution, or now that development has stopped, is this the kind of thing that will also stop, as I remember youtube especially needed tweaks over the years by the overlords at Sage.

Youtube stopped working for me today. stumbles when I try to play. Google videos fine though.

I have the same issue. It started yesterday. Nothing changed on my end. Tried different settings, removed the online links properties files - nothing makes a difference.

I can play anything, including Google Videos, except Youtube videos through SageTV. It was working a few days ago.

Same... looks like we're starting to see some failings from Sage already... will they be allowed to update the STVs? Here's hoping! Can't view any youtube videos whatsoever... I can, however, see the videos from channels.com and others.. just not youtube.

Seems youtube is always changing.. hence why the downloading programs are updated almost weekely

Yep, Youtube gone also. Worked a few days ago now just a black screen with no time on the timer.

Now that Google owns SageTV I doubt there will be an update to correct this.

Seems like a lot of the yt fixes came from Andy as an STV update. Not sure if he is still allowed to make (and/or distribute) updates after the acquisition though

I think it's pretty safe to say that absolutely nothing is going to happen unless someone does a support request.

I'm curious whether this is happening only on PC clients. My kids have been playing YouTube videos just fine on an extender today.

Yep you tube will not play on any of my clients or even the server I tried SageTVPlayer and FFDSHOW and neither play. I guess this is the start of Parts of Sage beginning to fail. Also top 100 Videos and newest top 100 on Google is empty.... no list.

For me it seems to be a PC client/server issue. YouTube videos are working fine on my HD100.

This is weird, the file downloads ok within sage and will play fine outside of sage. It looks like some buffering caching issue within sage. The youtube video capability is one of sages key features I am sure its easily correctable. Anyone any ideas on settings or fixes to try.

Online Youtube vids don't play in sage 6.6 through HD300s. I checked for stv updates and not surprisingly none are found. (I haven't tried sage 7.1.9 since I'm building up a separate system with that version and it's not online)

Youtube streaming broken?
Can someone please check to see if youtube streaming is still working? I get a spinning circle when trying to play videos. I can't get 1080p videos to stream at all unless I use a web browser.
