Please help me clear a confusion

I am finally looking into upgrading to V7.0. Currently my MM setup is such that I am using MM for WHS and the collection manager on the Sage server. This is from the setup Wiki:

"Windows PC - MyMovies Server and/or Client must be running a Windows PC (macs and linux are not supported)" - my setup seems to comply with this as the Sage server is running the "client" (that is the collection manager right?)

"# MyMovies Collection Manager for Windows

* Normal Windows or Windows Server" - my setup seems to comply with this as per above.

" * IMPORTANT: MyMovies must be installed as a server where the Sagetv server is running. On any client install of SageTV, MyMovies client must be installed. " - This is where my confusion comes. So do I have to get rid of MM for WHS and instead install the server package on the same computer running the Sage Server?

The only reason why I ask is because I went ahead and installed MM for Sage using my current setup and I was able to get the covers and details etc after the refresh. So far so good. I needed to delete some duplicates through the collection manager and that seems to migrate to MM for Sage. I updated some info got covers etc and "some" migrated to MM for Sage and some did not, even after multiple refresh. This is maybe because of the non-standard setup?

If I were to install the full MM package on the Sage server then could I just leave the one on the WHS running as well?

On a further note, rescan of import libraries is setup as manual in Sage but I notice that at times the SMM scan "icon" on the front page stays there for a long time, hours and hours. Granted I have a substantial collection of DVDs but it is supposed to last that long each time?

Thanks in advance.

For this plugin I don't think (keyword "think") it matters if the collection manager is run in client mode on the sage server as long as mm is on the sage server. So you have a WHS server and a sage server? Try to install SMM and see if that works.

MM has to be on the server in all situations. For any Sage TV PC Client (not extender) you need to run the Collection Manager (client mode) on that Sage TV PC client.

Ok thanks. Now to figure out why some covers/info changes through the collection manager "migrate" to SMM while others don't.
