HD200 and file types ... advice
Currently I have 3 HD200s and 2 LG BD390s in the house.
The HD200s work great and I am very happy with them overall. My dilemma ... The BD390 works well with single file .TS rips (ie rips is all 1 single file), it does not deal well with multiple file .ts rips (i.e. splitting your files into 1gb sized chunks during the ripping process. HD200 works great with multiple file .ts rips (ie the 1gb chunks) but TERRIBLE with single file rips -- it studders and locks up. I thought mkv might be the way to go to get both units to work well with what is on the media server but alas the HD200 does very well with it but LG will not play them from the server. First is there any fix for the HD200 to allow it to handle SINGLE file .ts rips properly - no studdering and lock ups? Does anyone know a file structure that both units can handle equally well? LMK Thanks Greg |
