Search for non-converted files, or specific file types

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is any way to search the Sage Recordings for a specific file type?

I'm trying to find all currently non-converted/non-compressed files (on my system these are all .mpg MPEG files as I use a PVR-150 to capture), so I can add them as a block to the conversion queue.

I've got hundreds of files altogether, many have already been converted, but many have not. Picking the non-converted ones out is currently very time consuming.

As an alternative, if I queue up already-converted files, would they get converted again, or does Sage recognise that they have already been converted and skip over them?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Once I've got all the existing files converted, I plan on adding that auto-conversion import, so I can automatically convert every recorded show.

Cheers,
Ben

No way to search like that as far as I know. I have similar issues.

What I'd like to see is the conversion logic changed a little so that it ignors a file in the queue if it is already in the target format.

Webserver has a filetype search. Enter *.mpg in filename, and off you go!

search for *.mpg recorded tv files at http://mediaserver:8080
(Thanks to jreichen who added that feature)

from the search results, you can also select all and batch add them to the convert queue...
