+0.0.1 for drop-down, now at 7.0.5. Can't help picturing a bored SageTV web-BOFH, having nothing to do, adding one entry just for the fun of it, then sitting back watching the commotion on the forums

Jeez with all the anticipation around Sage 7.X, I hope it doesn't suck like Episode 1 of Star Wars.

Edit: I want to clarify that I in no way think Sag 7.0 will suck, just saying with all the hype and hope around 7.0, will we expect too much?

Another similarity is that the time between Sage beta releases is now beginning to resemble the time between Star Wars movie releases. Remember the good-old days when we had a new beta every few weeks - seems like ancient history.

True Dat. And 10 years later George Lucas destroyed another of my favorite Franchises by making/releasing Indiana Jones 4.

So it should be Sage Episode 7: A New Hope?

When you wait 20 years for a movie to come out and you get that... Not cool.

Lets hope sage doesn't make a huge mistake in the same fasion...

I started using SageTV at v1.4 and that screenshot looks like it's pre-v1.4... I'm guessing that is from v1.0.

I would be able to make a more educated guess if I had a v7 shot for comparison purposes

Well, at least we know Jeff is alive, and he has a sense of humor!

I am wishing in the back of my mind that all of this silence is because they are working with SiliconDust on CableLabs Certification. That plus a new GUI brings me back over from WMC!

I love the textured purple background.

Port Charles is new, the show aired from 1997-2003.

Bedazzled came out in 2000 (assuming it is the remake) and was in US theaters until Feb of 2001. Assuming HBO got it pretty fast we can narrow the window to 2001-2003.

SageTV founded 2002, so I'm guessing Beta/Alpha version 0.8ish or as someone else said version 1.

The Jenny Jones Show ended in Sept 2003 per Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Jenny_Jones_Show as did The Other Half http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Other_Half_(TV_series)

Whoa, that looks awesome. Are you guys just skipping v7 and going straight to v8?

Also, FYI, I've reported you to Opus. Learn to scale your inline images, newb!
