The HD-PVR and the HD-200 will not be connected to each other. The HD-PVR is a USB device that needs to be connected directly to the computer that will be recording the information. We'll call this computer "A". Computer "A" also needs to be connected to your network via a cat5e cable. Your "network" might be as simple as a router that you connect the computer to.
The HD-200 is a network device that plugs into your network via a cat5e cable. So in a simple case, the HD-200 will also be connected to the same router that computer "A" is connected to. The HD-200 gets its information over the network connection. Check out this post for an example of how the HD-PVR is connected to a computer and then the computer is connected to the network along with several extenders.
