Happauge recoding levels

I have a Sage system with two Happauge cards, a 350 and a 150. The recorded files from the 150 have a much higher audio output level, enough that I can hear clipping in the output files. How can I adjust the audio output levels SEPERATELY, for each card? The input source is the same for both cards, analog cable via a splitter.

Thanks, and I love my SageTV setup! For those interested, I use VideoReDo as the MPEG editor and TMPEnc DVD Author to produce DVD's of my recordings.

Scott

Maybe this utility would help: Hauppauge Tweak Tool

I've tried this utility, and it does not work on RCA inputs. I wish it did, cause it is really annoying to adjust the slider and see that it made no change.

That utility looks good. I hadn't seen it until now.

Does anyone know if you can adjust the PVR-350 output volume separate from the tuner recording level? The utility doesn't have a setting for the 350 output. I looked into this a while back but didn't find anyone had had been able to do this. When they changed the recording level, it would change the output level too.

The tweak can adjust the rca input level as well (volume line in)

But....
- as SHS allready mentioned you might need to reboot.
- It wont work with older drivers (only 23053 and some newer)
- Hauppauge is still strugling with the audio, the latest prerelease drivers have shown several different default settings, but the havent improved things for everyone.
- It seems that 23074 are the last drivers where the sound can be easily set-up just as you want, (the newer ones have major sound problems, see SHSPVR forum for more info).

What is hooked up to the 150? Is it a cable/sat box? If so, can't you lower the volume on the box itself?
