Moving Sage Directories - Rescan
Hello - I'm looking to replace my hard drive with a larger one and move a lot of files. I'm wondering if I don't keep the exact same drive letters and paths can I just do a Rescan Existing Library Files or will I lose any information such as the Watched status or anything else when I do a Rescan? Thanks,

Sage will keep track of all the metadata on recordings, including watched status when moving to a different drive, but it might flag them as Archived, depending on how you do it.
For imported videos, it will reset the watched status/progress bar when you move them, but as long as you're moving the properties files too, it'll re-import them as usual. Even the original import date is remembered. Don't quite know why, though. |
