After moving TV Recordings and performing rescan, showing up as Movies

All of a sudden, past couple days when my Sage Recordings get moved from Server to NAS (using SJQ), the stuff is showing up as Movies instead of Sage TV Recordings.

Nothing has been changed to my knowledge.

Any thoughts? What logs should I be looking at?

Additional info.

Go into BMT WebUI. Go to a file that is an Import (How I met your Mother - Natural History for example).

Check the Sage Recording box and hit Save.

Look in Sage and it is still an Import.
Go back to BMT WebUI, do another view, work my way to file again, click on it and the Sage Recording box is not checked.

Any thoughts on why (even manually) the Imports are not being saved as Sage Recordings?

Find the airing in the SageTV WebUI(NIELM's) for your recording. Look up the airing ID in the display. Is it the same as the number in the file name? If not you can try to rename the physical media file with the airing ID and see if you can the fix your problems after that. Before SageTV put the metadata in the recording files would require a change like this. The server would then be able to find a match with the media file and the airing ID. NOTE IF YOU DO THIS MAKE A COPY OF THE MEDIA FILE ITSELF SOMEWHERE. Doing this will occasionally cause SageTV to think it is a partial and then SageTV will delete the file that is why I recomend a copy before trying this. Also make sure the modified time and date between the copy and the one you rename are the same.

I have been having a similar problem. This has worked for me:

1. Select Edit Raw Metadata
2. Enter 'TV' for Media Type
3. Fix Title to be exact name of the show, i.e. "Father of the Pride"
4. Fix Episode Name to be normally spaced episode name
5. Do a Save from The Raw Metadata screen

After that, when I go back to view the Metadata screen, the type is now changed to TV. And that show stops showing up on my Movie Wall.

Didn't work for me. At least not before I backed everything up, uninstalled, installed SageTV again. Now all is working well as it should.

Just need a bit of cleanup, doublechecking configuration, making sure got channel lineup right, etc.....what a mess
