how did you fix this? I'm not really interested in the RC until its fully baked, but I'm having the STUN issue with my Unifi controller

The latest RC (rc14) no longer crashes my server. I have been working on using custom domains and letsencrypt ssl leveraging IPv6 and cloudflare for ddns. This is being done without proxying through a webserver. I have it working with my Plex container so far.

You have to change the Unifi docker setup to add port 3478 to the ports that are allowed to pass through to the docker.

edit - I think this has been added to the docker config as well so if you were to reinstall from scratch you wouldn't have the problem.

And here is a link to my post on the Unifi forums that has a bit more info: https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-...t/true#M265828

Now on rc16b. A few changes in the kernel used in the last couple of releases. Anyone want to start a pool on how many RCs we see before the final release?

Quote:
Notable changes (-rc16b):

Linux kernel 4.14.4 (with "Revert - Remove UDP Fragmentation Offload support" patch). This is an "experimental" patch that is meant to solve VM issues introduced after moving to 4.14 kernel. Please report if this works for you.
Early microcode loading support.
Addition of background threads that auto-update local IP address with LimeTech DNS server when using Let's Encrypt SSL certs, and that auto-renew these certs if within 30 days of expiration.
Misc. bug fixes.

Notable changes (-rc15e):

Linux kernel 4.14.4. This is a "longterm maintenance" kernel, which is nice.
There is now a Logout button for the webGUI which appears on right side of the menu bar when you have defined a root password and are logged in. Clicking this will "log you out" from all tabs/windows in that browser.
Misc. bug fixes.

There were a couple of more RC releases over the holidays - we are now up to rc-18f:
Quote:
Notable changes (-rc18f):

Linux kernel 4.14.9 (with better patch). Looks like the VM shutdown issue may be solved using latest patch referenced in the “Shutting down a VM with Kernel 4.14 will sometime hang and a reboot is the only way to recover” Bugzilla topic. Please check if this release solves this issue for you. This patch will eventually find its way into an upcoming stable kernel release, maybe 4.14.10 or 4.14.11. This is the last major issue to resolve before we can publish 6.4.0 'stable' release.
We now have a web-based Terminal application available by clicking the Terminal button on the Menu bar. Kudos to @eschultz for integrating the ttyd application with our nginx install. This is using websockets and appears to be quite fast, give it a try!
We ported a simplified version of the zenstates.py utility to C (to avoid including python in bzroot) which may be used to disable Ryzen C6 states (as workaround for Ryzen idle freeze issue). We have found that sometimes bios option to disable C6 does not exist or does not do the right thing. If you want to use this utility, we suggest that you edit your 'config/go' file on your USB flash device. Add this line just before emhttp is invoked:
zenstates --c6-disable

Misc. bug fixes

Now on RC20 and I wonder if the whole Meltdown/Spectre issue will cause a few more RCs than would have otherwise been the case.

I don't think it would hold up release. They will just issue a point release with the requisite patches.

I think the biggest thing is the VM issues. I wouldn't be surprised if we weren't on the last one.

I hope you're right and this is the last one. I really want to move to using one IP per docker with reasonable port numbering since everything also wants to use 80, 8080 and 443.

Still betting on an RC of 23 as the last before final.

It's ready (i.e. 6.4.0 stable).

I have a brand new build running Sage w/ OpenDCT and not much else. The upgrade from 6.3.5 to 6.4 was smooth. Now testing the new disk encryption..

Do you run the DVB Edition plugin - this is required for some tuners - like HD-PVRs?

I will start a new thread on 6.4.

Glad to see I was wrong on the numeric of the last RC.

I will not be switching until they add in a 6.3.5 setting of "Table view spacing=narrow" so that the drives appear with as little space between them as possible. Or I have to switch anyway.

I might have to upgrade. Dockers on their own IPs would be nice. I'll have to read up on it.
