unRAID 6.3.0-rc9

I just wanted to give all of you early adopters a heads up in case you only read the release notes like I did and try to upgrade. There are many plugins that become broken with this upgrade. I even had preclear try to wipe one of my disks because it thought it was resuming a task. I manually removed the plugins that were being a problem, but ended up rolling back to unRAID 6.3.0-rc6 anyway because the server was starting to randomly fully freeze up.

So anyway, here's your fair warning. The line referencing this in the release notes does not even come close to explaining the possible repercussions. If your plugins behave badly to this new change, at least some of them make some interesting decisions based on that.

Thanks for posting this.

If anything, it reinforces for me to WAIT to take updates. I'm of a "stable" mindset for Unraid....since it's actually working reliably vs. my prior setups.

One of the conveniences in unRAID is how easy it is to roll back if an upgrade breaks something. It's rare that an upgrade causes a plugin to do something so alarming. Usually the worse case is you need to roll back to the previous version by removing the flash drive and moving the files around on another machine.
