purge old recording status

I've had my current SaveTV running for about a year, and the EPG is coming via a couple of chained tools, but the daily news recordings are just not taping for about the last few weeks.

When I look at the favorite, it has 124 previous recordings, listed. So I deleted the favorite and then added again and it still know about these.

What I really want is zero caring about previous recordings, and to always record.

Any hints how to achieve the above, short of manual pressing record on the weeks schedule each week?

The problem is most likely that your guide data isn't reporting each show as a separate airing. Do each of the guide listings for the show have a different original air date?

I assume you setup the favorite to record re-runs and first runs. You can also try to disable the "Detect repeat airings with non-unique IDs" setting under Settings > Detailed Setup > Customize.

Ok, so the original air dates are correct.

"Detect repeat airings with non-unique IDs" is turned off.

I've found an option in "XMLTV Importer for SageTV" to force this show to always be unique, and the future airings are now all scheduled to record.
