Comcast lineup changed

Comcast moved some of their stations in the lineup this week in my area (east TN, specifically, Comcast Digital - Gray ). The local HD channels, USA HD and a few of the other HD channels were moved to new channel numbers so, my Program Guide is now wrong.

I opend a ticket with Sage a couple of days ago but haven't heard back and the Program Guide still hasn't updated with the new channel lineup. Sage is downloading EPG data on a regular basis, it's just not the updated lineup info.

This happened a little over a year ago and it took a few days for it to be fixed but, with the Google buyout, I'm wondering how long it will take this time.

I really don't want to go through the effort to switch EPG providers, it's kind of a pain to do.

Anyone have any experience in this happening since Google bought Sage?

An alternative for you is to visit the Zap2It web site and see if the same schedule is bad there as well. If it is you can report it to Zap2It directly (where SageTV gets it's schedule). Once it is fixed on the website display it will probably work in SageTV as well. That is a big IF and your support ticket is still the best way.

If it affects channels you watch regularly and you are missing recordings because of it, I would probably do a manual re-map of the affected channels rather than waiting for the EPG to get fixed.

I would still report it to Sage and Zap2It, I just wouldn't wait for a response if it meant missing shows.
