Repeated recordings of the same show marked as a first run
How do I prevent SageTV from recording the same show over and over again that has been marked as a first run that I have already watched?
As an example: Tosh.0 - "Rock Climber Poops Pants" was recorded and watched on it's original airing date and deleted. It has subsequently recorded 3 more times. If I don't delete the recording it doesn't seem to record it multiple times. The favorite is set to 'First Runs' only.

Before you delete it, make sure that it is actually marked "Watched". I have seen some shows end a little early and if you just stop watching, Sage might not consider it to be completely watched.

Yeah - I've tried that. Not it.

Have you compared the airing ID's on the duplicate shows?
Sometimes guide data is a little funny. Sage makes its decisions based on the airing ID, so if two airings have different ID's Sage will think they are different.

If I'm looking at the correct information they are the same. I also have the option set that's supposed to reduce duplicate airings.

Ive had the same problem for years.
This seems to be a result of having intelligent recording turned on. Well, using the web interface to check the intelligent suggestions list always seems to show all the repeats when Ive had a look. However I get multiple recordings even if I dont delete them.
