H.264 decoder keeps changing
Hey guys, I've got a weird problem I haven't been able to track down.
I'm running SageTV 7 on WindowsXP. Almost everything works great except for one minor annoyance. Sage doesn't remember that I want keep my H.264 decoder to "default". It always wants to change to "Cyberlink H.264". The default setting holds for some random amount of time, even through a reboot, but it will eventually always return to Cyberlink. The other decoder setting work fine, it's only the H.264 decoder that keeps switching around. Does anyone know what going on? I have a feeling it has something to do with Sage.properties, but I've done a search for "cyberlink" in the file, and there's no instances of it. Can anyone tell me what's going on and how to make the decoder stick to "default"? |

Why don't you just set the h.264 decoder to the one you want it to use instead of default?

Plus, I have my default H.264 chain all set up the way I want. For instance if there's a video that LAV Video (my preferred) won't play, then it will automatically fall back to FFDshow. Finally, the Cyberlink decoder installed on my computer is way back from version 7. I'd rather use newer decoders. |

Post a log file for when it switches so maybe I can see anything wrong or strange.
