Changing decoder merit

Hey!

I'm lost. I cannot get WMP10 to play anything in 5.1 even though my nVidia Purevideo is selected correctly and even pops up in the tray when playing a DVD in WMP!0. nVidia shows I am using S/PDIF out and sending 5.1 output, but the stream is prologic/stereo.

I used the flag dvdupgrd /detect in XP to see what DVD decoder is system preferred (even though deccheck.exe SAYS it's nVidia) and I get:

I think this may be the root of my issue, but I'd like some feedback.
