Is there a way to slightly delay HD-PVR recording

All,
I'm using the awesome new Plex add-on, and I've come across a potentially fatal annoyance I'm hoping that one of the big brains here can help me (and several others) with.

Right now, I'm using LMRemote and an MCE IR blaster to change channels for a recording (the Hauppauge blaster was never reliable enough). This means that I'll have somewhere between 1 and 4 seconds of channel A before I get tuned to the proper channel B for a recoding.

Due to some current limitations in Plex decode, anything on channel B has a 1 or so second audio drift. No goodness.

So, what I'd like to be able to do is ensure that the channel change occurs before the HD-PVR begins to record, which seems like it would solve this problem.

Thoughts?

Check this setting in your sage.properties file.

mmc/encoders/-1674637831/delay_to_wait_after_tuning=4000

4000 is 4 seconds - you can lengthen it it you need to. Don't forget to stop sage while editing your properties file.

the -1674637831 may be different for your HD PVR.

Just what I was looking for. Thanks, Helen!
