Color Issues - New DirecTV box - help please

Replaced an old Sony SAT-B55 box (SD) that was going bad and they sent a D11-100 (SD). Since then, my wife has noticed color issues with the recordings.

We have done some testing by switching between watching via the D11 to TV (Composite) than what Sage Recording of same show (S-Video into Hauppauge 1600).

The colors via D11 => TV look right but the colors are off (too much red) when viewing the Recording.

No other changes other than changing the DirecTV box.

Any thoughts on the Cause, and how to fix it?
Ideas on troubleshooting?
Really bugging the wife.

your capture card likely has color adjustments on it. (Configurable from the tuner configuration in sage)

OK...I found that.

So are you saying that the color signals from the 2 boxes are different?
And why would the color on the TV not have changed between the 2 boxes also?

Just trying to understand so that I can explain what is happening.

Checked the setting on the card and they are all on the defaults.

Different sources may have differences in color output when it comes to composite or s-video. Some are better than others. Maybe check the cables and adapters to make sure that isn't part of the problem.
