Color Calibration issues/questions
Hi all,
I have the same issue with all the Hauppauge cards, about 15% of the channels have a black level of 6 when the others are correct at 16. I calibrated using the DScaler Histogram and verified the results (close) with some more tweaking I got the value of black to 16 spot on!... This was until I turned to the "dark" channels that now have a value of 6 for black. This makes these channels pretty much unwatchable, if I do the histogram on these channels to make them 16 - the other channels are 35-36 black level which look completely washed out. Is there a solution in SageTV to have a PER CHANNEL brightness? I know MythTV has this (I was searching Google). Would this be possible via a Plugin? When set to black level of 16, I'm able to take a screenshot with SageTV running in a window using VMR9 and I get a value of 16,16,16. And the picture looks mint. If your reading this stanger89 thanks for answering all my questions via PM Thanks,
