HD 5450 How do I Setup Bitstream Audio

I am trying to setup an HD5450, and have downloaded the ATI CCC and enable bitstreaming in the ATI driver. However when I play a movie I get an Sage error "problem rendering audio".

Could someone else with a 5450 setup, advise how best to setup the CCC options and/or Sage codec options make it work well with Sage.

Thanks for the pointer, I'm wondering how specific that is to the native support the HD5450 offers in H/W?

This works great burtonpark.

Quick Guide: How to Bitstream Audio in Windows 7 Warning... Shark007 installs Bing Bar without warning. You'll need to remove it via add/remove programs. I'm currently looking into another codec pack that provides the same functionality but doesn't install Bing.

Apparantly enough people gave shark hell about it so he posted 2 reg files that make Bing think it's installed so it won't install. I tested on Win7 x64 in a VM and they worked; no trace of the bing bar.

@GollyJer I'll try to run through the shark pack again this weekend and I'll post my results on your blag. I haven't forgotten, just haven't had time when I could work on the box that it wouldn't conflict with it's duties Although, I would rather just use an SVN build of ffdshow and install the PowerDVD codecs manually. I haven't been able to figure out the PowerDVD part yet though.

Which is why Shark007 is so nice. :-) That, and the simplicity with which you can disable Media Foundation (the settings on the SWAP tab), make it well worth the install. Hope to hear from you on the blog.
