Audio Setup

Hi,
I'm looking to add a decent audio setup to one of my HD-200's, and was wondering if anyone had some pointers. Please forgive me if there is already a thread on this - I wasn't able to find one.

I currently just feed the audio via HDMI to the TV speakers, which does not decode DTS for HD content (converting to AC3 is getting very, very old). I'd like to get surround up (probably just 5.1 - I can barely fit that many speakers in my living room).

I'm considering one of these - Onkyo TX-SR607, TX-SR707, HT-RC160, HT-RC180

I'm by no means an audiophile and so was wondering about the following:

- Is upscaling really a factor? Some of these models have different upscaling processors (faroudja dcdi cinema/edge) and I'm wondering if they would make any difference. Anything to improve standard definition content would be really appreciated.
- Is upscaling even possible when I'm already connected to the HD-200 via HDMI? or component? Does the HD-200 already upscale?
- Can I use 5.1 speakers when using a 7.1 receiver? All the hip new receivers seem to be 7.1 (or 7.2).

We have this one and we love it.

I can't honestly talk about upscaling. All our devices use the HDMI ports.

You can run the receiver in 5.1, you just don't hook up the extra two speakers.
