HR 1600 OTA

I have an HR1600 set up with cable sd and OTA HD. I gave priority to the OTA tuner using merit in properties. However the OTA keeps trying to record shows only available on cable channels and as a result I only get snow on the recording. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Sounds like you're not using a separate channel lineup for the OTA channels.

I set it up with seperate channels (OTA only) for that tuner. However it just adds those to the program guide. It is at 5 priority and the rest are at 0.

Is the priority 5 still there in the .properties file? If not you need to stop Sage before you edit that file. If it is you may need to restart Sage before that takes affect.

If your OTA has its own lineup and the channel numbers in question are not enabled then you have a bug. SageTV will blend like channel numbers in a guide but it won't ask a tuner to record something that it does not have enabled.

Unless I misunderstand your postings.

Yes,
I will recheck priorities again. BC you are understanding correctly. So it does sound like a bug. Guess I will need to get ahold of sage.

Thanks
