HVR 1600 to record SD and OTA HD?
Hi all,
I'm thinking about getting the HVR 1600 to replace my current SD tuner card. Can I record OTA and SD with the card within SageTV, or do I have to use it for one or the other? Will it just select the appropriate tuner on the card based on the channel I choose to record the show from? Thanks a lot for any information! |

Yes, I have 2 of those cards and do exactly that. You will need to set up 2 different epgs -- one for sd cable, and one for OTA HD. Once you do that, it works great!
