does mymovies list the path like \\Movies\DVD\<name> and does the sage import path match? ie in this example \\movies\dvd would cause your movie not to play... it is really picky about these things...

The paths match, hit that issue previously.
Even granted everyone access to the path in case it was a permissions issue.

Does the path have to be UNC or can it be a drive letter eg c:\videos?

I use UNC because, eventually, you'll find that you'll need this for extenders or something

I *think* you can use drive letters but it must match exactly what you have for an import path. Meaning, I don't think it'll work if in Sage your are using UNC for your medial folder import paths and the actual drive letter in Collection Management. Make sure all these are the same. If they are, I had a few movies (not all of them) that wouldn't play and just wouldn't do anything like what you are experiencing. I ended up having to rebuild the Sage My Movies database and then it started working (do this from the plugin menu under configure for Sage My Movies). It is labeled something like "Rebuilt database". That doesn't mean that it already has been rebuilt so don't let that confuse you Click that button and it will rebuild the database.
