Previous Channel on Harmony remote?

Is there a previous channel on the remote for the HDX00's? I would like to change the channel but jump back to whatever it was I was previously watching? I am using a Harmony remote and noticed that key isn't programmed...

There's no corresponding "keystroke" for it documented in the SageTV manual...that might be why?

So I guess I have to teach the Harmony that command from the original remote. Strange that they wouldn't have it mapped.

The Previous Channel command is listed in the list of commands in Chapter 5's list of commands in the full SageTV PDF manual; you can assign it to any keystroke/remote button you want.

It is displayed on p. 10 of the HD100's manual showing its remote layout; it is displayed on p. 11 of the HD200 manual. It isn't shown in the HD300's manual because that remote changed a few buttons.

If it isn't part of the database for the Harmony remote, that is up to whoever controls those remotes' programmable layouts.

I am not really sure how I should approach this. Is one way better than the other for making the previous button work? Anyone doing this?

Thanks,

I use the harmony remotes... and have the previous channel mapped... i dont remember having to do anything special (but it was a couple of years ago now). If i needed to "teach" the harmony i would have done just that... use the standard hdxxx remote to teach the harmony software the correct remote code... that way the standard remote still works.

I found it in their database. It is called ChannelPrev and that is the button that needs to be mapped!
