Goto previous channel?

Hey all,
Just a quick question that i couldnt find the answer for.
Im trying to find a way while watching tv to go to the previous channel that i was watching. is this possible? I know for regular tv sets some remotes have the button and sometimes pressing 00 works but I just cant seem to find a way. Hopefully im missing something obvious.

and im posting here since I use sagemc and didnt know if this would make a difference.

Its in there, what remote are you using and what if any software is processing event before SageTV.

I stumbled across this post trying to get Previous Channel to work in the standard Sage UI (not SageMC, sorry for hijacking).

I have LM Remote running in the background and an MCE 2k5 Remote.

I am attempting to use the "Clear" button on my remote to perform the Previous Channel function.

In LM Remote I have set the Clear button to the "Clear" button press function.

In Sage I have mapped the IR command received from pushing the Clear button to the Previous Channel function.

When watching TV if I push the Clear button nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong??

Depending on your remote you can change the way the "Enter" or "Ok" button operates via Sagemc settings. Get to the Video OSD options > Select in OSD - change this to previous channel.
