Collection Manager and SMM filter results different

I mentioned this in a different post but thought it would get buried so sorry ofr the repost

If i create a filter in collection manager and run it the results are as expected but when I use the filter through SMM many of the results are missing ????

Is there another level of filter i SMM that i need to turn off or do i need to somehow sync the database?

No my filters match title for title. The only thing that would effect it is the user restrictions would limit it in smm.

I havent set up any user restrictions but a filter that returns 40 results in collection manager only gives me 5 in SMM ...?

I did notice that the clapperboard icon is present on the header line of the views and the Sage menus. It as been there for almost 24 hrs ? does this indicate a problem or is it normal?

FYI i did try to do a clean load of sage (just adding in my current properties andwiz.bin files) but ran in to the API failed problem noted elsewhere so i reverted to the previous installation.

Viewfilters could be affecting it (ie online, offline, watched) as well as box videos filters if you have any of those on (ie boxed, unboxed etc)

The clapperboard should not be there fulltime there could be an issue with that.

I should have a new build out next week that fixes those with issues.

OK the build earlier this week fixed the failed api problem ...but i am still having issues with filters.

I deleted all filters from Collection manager then added 2 new ones for test. One filters on categories and should return 40 results (according to collection manager when it runs the filter) and the other filters on one genre with more than 200 expected results

Neither produce any output when run from the mymovies menus, although one does indicate 2 results in the header there are no coves or icons in the main part of the window.

I enabled logging, opened the application and went straight to the MyMovie->filters page... i then backed out to the sideways view to demonstrate that this does produce the expected results (almost 400).

The collection manager and sage are on the same PC.

Logs attached

note i didnt log this via the issues page because i dont have or want to create an account there ... is there a guest login?

Let me know if i can provide more info that will help.

I confused by the issue you say you are having you say they don't show but then say they do show in sideways view...

Sorry

the movies show in sideways view (with no filters) but the filters retun no results in any view ...

The comment about sideways view was just trying to demonstrate that the link to collection manager was working.... i apologise for the confusion
