Question Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder Shows As "Unknown" in Direct Show Filter Manager

Is it true that the Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoders Show As "Unknown" in Direct Show Filter Manager (see attachment)? I'm trying to figure out a problem I'm having and would like to compare this with the gallery.

All of the details of the Microsoft decoders are properly list on my copy of DirectShow Filter Manager.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate.

Thanks for the feedback. Now I know my problem is with the MS decoders and not with SageTV.
BTW - did you apply the native recording patch?

Anybody know how to re-register the MS decoders?

Yes, I have upgraded all my computers to Win 7 Ultimate with the patch. Never had all these troubles you are having.

Don't think you can register the MS decoders, you would have to reinstall OS.

Try Win 7 Ultimate.
