"Sort By Title" most shows end up under "T" as in "The"

I tried searching the forum for this topic to see if there was already an answer but it turns out that the word "The" is very common. Anyway here's my problem:

My favorite sorting method for the Recorded TV menu is "Sort By Title". I pull up the alphabet on the right side of the screen and jump straight to the show I want to watch.

Only problem is half the time my shows get bunched up under the letter "T" as in "The".

Question:
How can I force/customize SageMC to sort by title while being smart about ignoring grammatical articles such as "The" or "A"?

Use TVE it has an option to ignore "the, a , and an" from begining of titles for tv shows. SMW does this for videos/movies. There is no option to do this from the default.
