Need USB-UIRT IR file for DTD12-300 Box
Somehow, I created an .ir file that conflicted with JRE, and sage would not run. Got rid of the bad file and am up again except for tuning the DTV box.
IR files I've created work partially to change channels. Some digits repeat unexpectedly. Can anyone send me a USB-UIRT IR file that has worked successfully for a directv D12-300 box? What settings are recommended? What should I use for the repeat factor? I had great success controlling the old RCA DTV box. Why is this new one inconsistent? Is it necessary for the IR blaster to point directly toward the DTV box. Previously, it worked fine pointed out into the room, and the reflection was sufficient to change the channels. Thanks, Marty
