Sageclient UI in V7
Some questions about the new ui and old.
1. If I upgrade to Sagetv 7 will I be able to connect using the old clients. 2. If not does the New Beta contain the old UI... as the new UI appears to be made for large widscreen TV.s 3. My wife hates the way the new UI looks on a standard tv. She has different menu Items with different filters and sorted different ways for recordings on the main menu (easy access).

No, old clients can't connect. Please read the announcement:
Version 7 Public Beta Has Begun! And, yes, the SageTV3 STV is included. But, it does not have all the v7 features that are in SageTV7. - Andy
