Sagetv client and error (-4,0x80040217)
I installed the sagetv client on an existing XP client which use to house the Sagetv server. Sagetv server is now on a WHS combined new machine. The sagetv client does not play any of the videos now residing on the new sagetv server. It gets the captioned error message as described in the title of this thread.
This is strange because i had no problems viewing the movies when i had sagetv on this machine. Using a tool called coded checker, there are a lot of video codecs installed on this machine. In setting up the client i have tried various configuration settings all to no avail. Appreciate assistance. thanks..

fixed - checked for updated stv's and did the updates. setup\detailed setup\advanced.
