BBC HD and Encryption

Did anyone else catch this in the news today?

No, I didn't know about it until I saw your post, thank you.

It seems that the only data which will be encrypted is the one thing most (?) SageTV Freeview users don't use, or can avoid using - the EPG. The transmissions themselves will (and must, legally) remain unencrypted.

I found this article which make this a bit clearer than the BBC one does.

I wonder what the encrypted Radio Times listings will look like? Will we need special glasses to read them do you think?
