Take this with a grain of salt, but I just noticed 7.0.9 is now listed on the Beta Bug Reporting tool....
It seems the time between Beta releases is getting progressively shorter (all of these dates below are based on when someone mentioned it in this thread): 7.0.5 mentioned on 3/11/10 7.0.6 mentioned on 4/8/10 (28 days between releases) 7.0.7 mentioned on 4/26/10 (19 days between releases) 7.0.8 mentioned on 5/11/10 (15 days between releases) 7.0.9 mentioned Today (6 days beween releases). Again this is when they were mentioned and in no way exact. Why did I just perpetuate this thread?!?!

Clift, you crack me up. I, too, love pain.....thread perpetuated again...and I'll throw in some hope for a HD300 announcement too that has a faster CPU/more RAM and most importantly HDMI 1.3 bitstreaming capabilities.
I think my head would explode if all that happened within the next month. |

Maybe, but the CTO runs Linux at home.

Narflex,
You're killing us. I know you'll never release any timelines or feature sets, but how about a private thread that only those that have posted in this thread have access to. Then post the release date in that thread so we loyal servants get an early opportunity to download before the servers get crushed by the load. |

If I might proffer a suggestion.. You might get more mileage out of buying Narflex a ticket to Australia to show you the version 7..

Not that it's a surprise but at least Narflex admitted to having v7. I wonder how many of the people on this thread are pretending to commiserate with the rest of us while secretly playing around with v7.

Will say Narflex is one and would go as far as Opus4, but who else I wonder? Can defiantly say Im not one.

I think you only need to look at the top plugin/theme developers and bloggers to get who would be likely candidates...
stuckless meinmaui pluckyhd brent foceur bailio babgvant evilpenguin neilm (although he hasn't been around much) and sorry if i missed anyone, but those are off the top of my head.

We all "know" the Phoenix dev team is running 7.0...
But we will never actually know. I am sure they are bound by an NDA.... P.S. I have only jealousy of those who get to play with the private Beta of 7.0.

Given that post from Narflex I would guess a public beta is not too far off. To avoid being disappointed I'm sticking to my original estimate that it will be released as Sage 7.0.10 on July 10th.

Think V7 will mainly be based around the Linux Sage on a Stick.
