default recording format
I'm currently using Sage beta v6.5.19 along with a Hauppauge HD-PVR. The default recording format produces video files in the .ts format. I know the HD-PVR has the capability to record in .m2ts format, can I change Sage to begin recording in .m2ts format?
The reason I ask is that I want to use Cyberlink's PowerProducer to author Blu-ray disks but it will not allow you to import .ts files. It will however let you import .m2ts files. FYI: just for kicks I changed the extension of a pre-recorded .ts file to .m2ts and it seemed to still play perfectly in Sage as well as TME. This may be the solution if Sage won't change to .m2ts. Thanks, Wes |

There's a program called TsRemux that will let you remux the video to an M2TS without re-encoding.
