Custom Recording Time Format

Last night while tweaking my SageMC settings I found the Custom Rec Format option that is available when the default Detailed Recording Time is disabled, however, I'm not sure what the syntax is for adding a new format. Are any SageMC gurus familiar with that setting?

If possible I'm half tempted to make the format date/time like the regular Sage STV rather than the "In x hours y minutes" kind of format of SageMC.

edit: and to be clear that is located under Settings->SageMC->Main->Screen Specific Options-MyTV

the format is java's SimpleDateFormat. Just do a google search on that and you'll have your answer.

I'm a very poor (in skills ) programmer, how would I set up the customer rec format to show the Day, Date and time of a recording?

This is untested, but I think something like this should do the trick:

EEE MM/dd/yy h:mm a

This should give something like:

Wed 10/8/08 3:43 PM
