Switching Servers without powering off
If im connected to a server after selecting it from the main menu I am unable to return to the main menu to select another server with out powering off the hd200.
Is there a way to do this with out powering off the hd200? |

Not through the menus. You could try to script something through telnet.

repeating a tip from stanger i believer... set the hd200 to not autoconnect to the server. Then during normal operation use the home key to boot up into extender mode. Use the power button to boot into stand alone mode. Still use the power button to put the hd200 to sleep. Still not the fastest but faster than having to completely power off / on the unit. It also makes a little bit faster when booting back up into extender mode.

Or, keep HD200 auto-connecting, but press the power button twice and 'stop' the auto-connect process when you get the choice. This may be 'powering off' but not a 'cold boot' which gets the black Sage logo screen.

Ya this is what I do now. maybe not a 'cold boot' but it still power of load the fonts and stuff and then choose servers, seems a bit tedious to me. |
