Sage Deleting recordings...

So this evening I recorded the new episodes of Bones and Scrubs. I saw that sage was recording the show (from the UI). However when I went to watch them they were both missing from the recording list. So I went and checked the server... the files were missing there too. However, there were logs from comskip running on the file... so the file did exist.

Has anybody ever seen something like this???? its very weird and a little disconcerting.

Recordings are from the HDHR via OTA.

EDIT: this is an issue with the HDHR not sage and was fixed this morning by a firmware update for the HDHR (link to the fix originally posted by zoso below and copied here for people just joining this thread: http://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6818 )

Usually, that means the recording file was corrupt for some reason and thus SageTV deleted it. If you have debug logging enabled, you could check the log to see what it says about those shows.

ya i just figured that out actually. thanks for the reply. both HDHRs were no longer being seen by Sage, even after a reboot of the server. So once i figured this out I hard reset the HDHRs (and HDPVR and ethernet switch for good measure) and all is good. I REALLY WISH sage at some sort of messaging (via email) when it deletes recordings or detects corrupted files (maybe there is and i just haven't found it yet....)

This is odd, as my homeruns had the same issue tonight as well as somebody on AVS forums (posted in the Seattle comcast thread.)

Edit: Definitely a HDHomerun issue http://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6818

Same here. Lost the Bones recording and caught the problem 5 minutes into Lost. A reboot and a hard reset fixed it.

Thanks for posting that link... I was about to say multiple people having the same issue (on tax day no less) that it can't be a coincidence... well it's good to know that silicondust saw the issue and fixed it

Count me in as one who had the same issue. My wife lost America's Next Top Model last night. It is a good thing they replay that show like 8 times a week! Rebooting fixed the problem and her show is set to record tomorrow night.

I had the same problem, too. Didn't get Lost, Bones and the first 15 minutes of American Idol.

I'll have to run the update.

This is interesting, since i also didn't capture America's Next Top Model last night, but i don't have an HDHR... but the same apparent symptoms, nonetheless. I'm using Comcast unencrypted-QAM as the source.
