Sage Newbie didn't get daily recording...help

Hi all,
I"m new to this app and after setting up a few favorites I didn't get the result I expected. I set up a nightly news show as a favorite. It is supposed to record every night at 5:00 pm. I got mondays recording, but not tuesdays. I've noticed that even thou I've set it up as a favorite, it doesn't show in the guide as a favorite. I've set up other shows and some are listed in the guide and some aren't. Can someone please help me understand where I've goofed? For now I'm running the stock setup with no customizations.

TIA,
Dan

If you go into the program guide what status does the show have for today or tomorrow? If you mark Monday's show as watched do the future recordings all get marked the same way?

Sometimes there are minor differences in the TV listing so Sage can't tell the two shows are the same. It could also be the opposite issue of the shows all having the same ID in the guide. So Sage recorded Monday's show, but thinks that Tuesday and the rest are all the same show since it has the same ID. For your news show that would be my guess.

I think there is an FAQ about why a favorite doesn't record. Worse case you may just have to set it up as a manual recording so it captures each day regardless.

Thanks DJC,
I checked the program ID and it is the same for all days. So Sage thinks it has already recorded the show. I'll try to set it up as manual record and see if that fixes it.

Well Manual recording is just that a one time recording. I've made some progress but still have a few issues. My broadcasts are coming over the air from two different markets. I have a HD Homerun and by associating one tuner to each market I get a more complete lineup in the guide. Two downsides to that are I'm getting duplicate listings that are coming from the both tuners, even thou I disabled the channels not in each area. (I"m guessing the tuner is still picking up the signal and therefore adding the info into the guide). The second drawback is I think that locks a tuner to the given market area and will create more scheduling conflicts. I set up two recording tasks both in the Kansas City area for the same time and I got a conflict listed. I'm in a situation where I can get both markets even without turning my antenna, so either tuner would pick up the stations I need. Can anyone give me some advise on these two issues?

Thanks,
Dan

Update....problem one solved. I went back into the tuner setup and toggled a channel trying to see about remapping if that might be a viable solution. I didn't remap, but something in the toggling and untoggling made my guide list the correct lineup without duplicates. Not sure why that did it, but it did. Hopefully my Hd200 should arrive today and I can get the full functionality I've been seeking. Awesome program!
