Remove/stop/cancel daily recurring timed recording

How do I get rid of a daily recurring timed recording? I select it in the recording schedule and select "stop," it disappears for a moment, but (I assume due to the 'recurring' aspect) it simply reinstates itself, forever and ever. I imagine it would be gone if a 'one-time' timed recording, but it seems for recurring recording, we're stuck in a loop that can never be escaped. There appears no way to kill it. I want to stop the daily action, not just one time. All of them, at that selected time each day. Forget I ever asked to record the time slot each day. Any answers???

I have the same problem. I was trying to set up a 7 minute recurring recording for just the remainder of this week (tue, wed, thur, and friday). But now, Sage wants to record the same 7 minutes on those four days, forever. I can't seem to cancel the recording.

Any ideas?

From the manual (read the stuff after as well):

Quote:
Canceling a Timed Recording
To cancel a timed recording, go to the Recording Schedule and select one of the entries for the
timed recording (or the only one, if it doesn’t recur). On the Program Information screen, select
Record Options. In the resultant pop-up, select Cancel Recording.
But I just tried (created a timed recurring recording for every day from 5-6PM) and canceling does not work. I would have to guess that it is a bug. I'll be submitting a bug report on it and I would suggest others do the same.

I've already submitted a bug for it and received a reply. Basically the problem is with the upcoming time change. This week was the only week that you would run into the problem. (Figures this would be the one week I've ever tried to use a recurring timed recording. lol)

Anyhow. The issue will work itself out next week. The real problem will be fixed in a future release of SageTV.

Cheers,
//Robert
