Recurring Time-Based Recording Bugs?

I was happy to see time based recording in 13 but the recurring functions don't seem to work too well. In fact, it seems like it may cause some unsuspecting users a lot of grief.

First, selecting Weekly (Specific Days) does nothing. Second, selecting daily comes up with a conflict dialog listing EVERYTHING I have scheduled to record despite what date or time it is scheduled for. That's as far as I'll go with it. I'm afraid to see what happens next

The single occurrence recording seems to work fine though. I guess I haven't tried weekly.

I'm interested to know that this isn't just me.

I just set it up to remedy my Sportscenter issue (it records everyone, but they're all the same). I'll post my results in a couple of days. As far as I can tell, I also could not get "specific days" to do anything, 'daily' seems to work, but calls it "bad airing", i can only assume it's a null title. It does show up in the upcoming recordings, but there doesn't seem to be a way to modify it once it's started.

I'm guessing it's a 1st implementation of the idea, and of course I don't need to say it's still a beta...oh well; i said it anyway.

I tried using the "weekly" feature. I set it up to record a show every Thur 8:59 to 10:01. I then tried to set it up to record another show every Tues 8:59 to 10:01. It gives me a conflict, even though there isn't one. I get a conflict on everything! Is there a chance the algorithm is comparing the entire duration of the recording schedule (i.e. starting Thur at 8:59 and going on forever against starting Tues at 8:59 and going on forever) versus just the start and end times on the individual days?

Do you guys know how to cancel the time based recording once you have created it? I can't seem to figure it out.. DUH..

It looks like you can go to your upcoming recording shedule, select the next recurring and set it not to record in recording options. It worked for me. Now none of those time slot are filled.

I don't recall any mention in several recent release notes.

Is it working, or it's just so limited it's only usable for single event time-based.

I would really like to do a weekly (specific days) and daily.

Actually what is needed is the ability to add those arguments to a selected recording (that way you don't have to jot down the channel, start, stop times, switch menus, .....
The stand-alone menu should only be needed when there isn't an EPG entry to start from.
