newbie - cancel recording
sorry to take up space on this question. i've reviewed faq too...
how do i cancel a program that is currently recording? if go to the item recording i can watch it and i can set flags (watched, don't like, etc). I don't see a cancel or stop recording option. thanks, jim

The other option is to go to the show's detailed info screen, choose "Record Options (first choose "Record" if that isn't listed), then choose "Cancel Recording". Using "Stop" on a current recording closes playback, I believe, but it doesn't always stop the recording.
