Same show records on two tuners

I've seen this on at least two different shows on two different channels, but currently I can only reproduce using Cartoon Network (DirecTV channel 296). Before I go any further a bit of info on my setup; two tuners, one PVR-250 and one HD-PVR, each is connected to a DirecTV receiver. I use the 250 for non HD channels and the HD-PVR for HD channels only (if available). I have both HD and non-HD cartoon network channels enabled; the non-HD is only defined on the 250 and the HD is only defined on the HD-PVR (the non-HD is not defined on the HD-PVR).

If I create a favorite for a show it will be scheduled to record on both tuners. What has ended up happening is that the if I'm watching another HD channel there will be no prompt for "do you want to change channels to record...", it will simply change channels on the HD tuner, however Sage has no idea about this...apparently, because if I hit info or guide it looks like I'm still on the original channel. If I check the recording schedule the show will be listed twice, once on each channel.

If I do the same for say the History channel it will only be scheduled to record once and record on what ever tuner is available.

Any ideas what might be going on?

Nope, deleted the favorite and tried again, also doesnt matter wha show on that channel. Need to find the other channel(s) this is happening on to verify it is not just somethng with toon. Also checked the episode id, its the same for both shows.
