Sage records show twice with same episode id ?

I noticed that SageTV was recording the same show (Mad TV, set up as first-run favorite, airing on channel 5 and 10 at the same time) twice. I double checked, and both airings showed the same episode id (show id = EPxxxxx). I canceled one recording (by changing to another channel and confirming the channel change warning). At this point there were two mpeg files on disk, but when I checked later on Sage had deleted the first (partial) recording.

My understanding has been that Sage would not record shows multiple times if the episode id is the same. Is this an incorrect assumption ?

Thanks,
Dirk

Are there 2 favs for the same show, each limited to 1 channel? I think it can happen in that case.

Nope, I only have set up one favorite for this show. So I take it that this shouldn't happen ? I had server debug logs active at that time, should I report this issue directly to support ?

I don't know why that would happen, but maybe SageTV would know, or would want to know about it.

So, if you look back in the guide, both shows are outlined in white & if you select each one, the Record Options -> Adjust Fav Options button lead to the details for the same Fav?
