Program Guide only allow 2 digits input?

I have a sat box so all the channels are 3-4 digits. When I am Program Guide instead of scrolling I wanted to enter number of the channel to jump to in program guide but it only accepting 2 digit the jump to channel 100 since I don't have any channel below 100.

This is 6.2.10 .. I already look in setting all over and couldn't find anything that will allow me to change from 2 digit to 3 or 4.

How do I change the timeout on the channel entry, it is set too short,

I can't press all 4 digits before it timeout at a normal pressing speed unless I hold the remote in one hand and press it real fast with the other hand finger.

Thank you
Bill

The inactivity timeout is the same as the OSD hide timeout in Detailed Setup -> Customize -> OSD AutoHide.

The timeout should depend on when you last did some action, so the timeout should occur X seconds after the last number you entered, not X seconds after you enter the first number.

I see and I changed the OSD to 1 sec because I don't want to see the bottom play/pause OSD bar so is there any way to seperate the inactivty from the OSD?

Reason I need that bottom bar to go away quick because I use Closed Caption and when I pause it then come back and unpause it I missed 5 second worth of stuff that was said on tv becasue closed caption would be blocked by that OSD display and I have to keep going back 10 sec every time I pause tv.

Thank you
Bill

No, the OSD timeout is the inactivity timeout.

In case you didn't know this, you can dismiss (or show) the OSD by using the Info command. So, you don't have to wait for it to go away.

You can also turn off timeout for channel entry completely, meaning that you need to do:
0123
or
123<select> to change channel
