Program Guide errors

Hi!

I just setup a server with cable firewire as the source. Am getting 4 error messages when entering the Program guide:

"This application has failed to start because HCWIRBLAST.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." The same one three more times referring to stvmpgvout.dll then stvmpgaout.dll and finally tvmpgvout.dll one last time.

Other than that everything seems to work OK, channel changes, the guide, recordings and playback. Searches for the files only reveal that the files are Hauppauge related. No devices from them have even been near this box. Any ideas how to get rid of the error messages? Reinstalling to a different directory did nothing.

Thanks,

Tore

Thats the same error I would sometimes get with Hauppage's IR blaster utility. Im not sure if this will fix it for you, but the only way I was able to fix this was installing it from the driver package from shspvr.com. If you load BlastCfg do you get any errors?

Thanks Angel, you got rid of the errors by installing a driver package? You probably have the Hauppauge hardware though, I do not. I'm trying to figure out how to get SageTV to stop looking for the ir blaster or whatever it is.

Well, the package from shspvr has a "dll update"... might be worth a shot, having those dlls installed might get rid of the error, though if you don't have an irblaster im not sure why sage would be looking for them in the first place.
