Network drive using mac Sage
Hi there,
I have just installed Sage on my mac mini (ppc), which I want to have looking at my network drive which contains all my media. Anyone know if this is working yet? If I click on 'Network' when trying to select my import directory, nothing happens?!? I have also tried adding the drive location manually (cifs://Aston/MAX/Movies), which just asked me if I wanted to create this directory on the local drive. Any ideas? |

When you map a network share in OS X, the share will show up under /Volumes/share. Maybe you could map it then specify it as /Volumes/share?

This should work. I've used it on the Mac many times. When you navigate up to Network and then select that it should then say it's path is smb:// and present the list of workgroups on the network (just like on Win & Linux). SageTV will then handle the mounting/unmounting automatically for you. If you're having problems with it; please file a bug report. http://sagetv.com/bugs.html
