problem playing few divx xvid movies

hi,

wel i have a problem playing few movies in divx xvid.
the sage stck and crush when i'm trying to play them/

i have tried to change the decoder but same problem.

What Xvid/Divx decoder are you using? FFDSHOW? The divx.com decoder? Xvid's?

I convert all my mpgs to divx. Only problem I'm aware of is when two divx files are combined. This freezes my sage server... Every time.

Another unrelated problem I had, a weird problem where all Divx and Xvid videos would lose audio. They were working fine and all of a sudden stopped working. I deleted the sageclient.properties files and start with a new one and that fixed the problem.

Another weird one was close captioning, all of a sudden it started appearing. I looked in the properties, and it was set to false. But it seemed to went away after deleting the properties also.

The audio problem in 6.1.4 has been mentioned a few times. Please read here and here.

I don't ever use closed captioning to I wouldn't know what was causing that

I use the standard divx converter tool from their main site. When you drag multiple mpg's into the "view list" you have the option to combine then.
